United in Matrimony
Whitney Danielle Caves became the bride of Brad Glenn Clark at 5:30 p.m. June 21, 2008, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro.
The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Debbie Caves of Laurel.
The groom is the son of Glenn and Anita Clark of Waynesboro.
The Rev. Jerry Roberson performed the ceremony.
Shane Cockrell was pianist and soloist. Katy Lee was organist, Kim Davis was soloist and sang “There You’ll Be” during the lighting of the unity candle. Shane Cockrell sang “I Loved Her First” during the giving away of the bride.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a one-piece, diamond white a-line silhouette gown with pearl buttons over zipper in the back closure. The alencon lace accents the portrait neckline and falls asymmetrically from bodice toward the border lace hem. The sheer back neckline emphasized the exquisite lace. The gown was satin with a delicate tulle lace overlay. The bride carried a bouquet of white and purple hydrangeas accented with purple/pink roses.
Meghan Caves, cousin of the bride, served as guest book attendant.
Ashton Brooke Caves of Laurel, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids wore t-length, strapless, dresses which were orchid in color and were accented with an orchid sash. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of purple hydrangeas.
Bridesmaids were Lindsey Thatch, Kaitlyn Burks and Chelsea Burks all of Laurel.
Stephen George of Jackson served as best man.
Groomsmen were Ashley Cooley of Hattiesburg, Scott Cooley of Jackson and Andres Marnio of Hattiesburg.
Ushers were Drew Caves and Erik Caves, cousins of the bride, Caleb Welch and Brett Shoemake.
Jenna Jones served as flower girl. Bell ringers and rice girls were Alee and Annah Cate Hyatt.
Dawson Pryor served as ringbearer.
