United in Matrimony
Lydia Anne Morgan became the bride of Christopher Jennings Leggett at 5 p.m. May 31, 2008, at Parish Patch Farm and Inn in Normandy, Tenn. The Honorable Jere Ledsinger performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Karen Morgan of Tullahoma, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of William and Anne Morgan of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Maurice Parke of Winchester, Tenn. and the late Truman Parke.
The groom is the son of Charles and Darla Leggett of Ellisville. He is the grandson of Katherine Bush of Ellisville and the late Charles Bush and the late Myrrh and Bill Leggett.
Music was presented by pianist, Tyler Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., soloists, Lucas Lord of Crestview, Fla. and Ryan Killeen of Old Hickory, Tenn.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a champagne satin ball gown with beaded metallic embroidery, contrasting sash detail, pick-up skirt, chapel train and champagne veil.
Rupa Shukla of Los Angeles, Calif. served as maid of honor.
Alison Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Erin King Murray of Tullahoma, Tenn., Ashley Martin of Clarksville, Tenn., Hanne Parmele of Greensboro, N.C., cousin of the bride.
Jeremy Leggett of Brandon, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Ryan Tolbert of Antioch, Tenn., Ryan Killeen of Old Hickory, Tenn., Jason Sykes of Brandon, Jodye Morgan of Murfreesboro, Tenn., brother of the bride.
Carly Ann Bond of Albuquerque, N.M. and Josephine Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., served as flower girls.
Matthew Bond of Albuquerque, N.M. served as ringbearer.
An outdoor reception was held following the wedding at Parish Patch Farm and Inn. Dance music was provided by Utopia.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Hermitage, Tenn. The bride is a teacher at Hunters Lane High School in Nashville and the groom is an IT consultant with Advanced Network Solutions in Nashville.
