United in Matrimony

— Anna Catherine Bozeman of Columbus became the bride of Kirk Winfield Thoms of Richton at 6 p.m. Oct. 20, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Columbus.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Clarke Bozeman Jr. of Columbus.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Stevens Thoms Sr. of Richton.
Dr. Shawn Parker performed the ceremony.
Music was presented by Edna Mae McCoy, organist; Kenny Bozeman, pianist; Joanne Bozeman and Jessica Bozeman, soloists, Diane Ford, violinist, JoAnna Younger, violinist, Elizabeth Crowder, cellist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a re-embroidered alencon lace ivory top accented with a gold sash and a full A-line satin ivory pick-up skirt with covered buttons, along the train, designed by Monique Lhuillier. The bride wore her sister’s veil and carried a bouquet of ivory orchids and roses and green hydrangeas.
Carrington Bozeman Grant of Hattiesburg, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lindsey Bailey Anderson of Brandon, Brittany Caroline Carr of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sarah Denise Corbett of Ridgeland, Erin Maria D’Abramo of Jackson, Amy Nicole Gillis of Charlotte, N.C., Laura Samir Hushi of New York, N.Y., Lauren Brunt Robicheaux of Gulfport, Emily Elizabeth Rolwing of Memphis, Tenn., Whitney Lee Staggers of Starkville, Betsy Eggleston Waters and Katherine Elizabeth Waters both of Columbus and cousins of the bride.
The bridemaids’ dresses were of chocolate European satin top with a rouched bustier and strapless sweetheart neckline, a modified mermaid skirt falling into a short train. They carried bouquets of cymbidium orchids, green hydrangeas, circus roses, and hypericum berries.
Joel Stevens Thoms, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were William Stanley Ayres Jr. of Greenville, Bobby Blaine Bozeman Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Edward Clarke Bozeman III, of Columbus, brother of the bride, Matthew Drake Burrell of Oxford, John Halpin Caldwell of Vicksburg, Thomas Anthony Howell of Tupelo, Walter Parke Jones of Fort Worth, Texas, Robert Thomas McElroy of Madison, Darrell Kirkland Scoggins of Madison, brother-in-law of the groom; Joel Stevens Thoms Jr. of Petal, brother of the groom; Matthew Drake Wiggins Jr. of Jackson.
After a honeymoon trip to Royal Hideaway in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is at home in Louisville, Ky. The bride is an interior designer. The groom is a senior sales representative for Lane Home Furnishings.
