United in Matrimony

Madelaine Reddoch Wingo of Hebron became the bride of Christopher Michael Johnson of Quitman in a private ceremony at 5 p.m. January 8, 2008. The wedding was solemnized at the Pinnacle Lodge at Gatlinburg Falls Resort in Gatlinburg, Tenn. The Rev. Noel Sanchez performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland E. Wingo of Taylorsville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dale Johnson of Quitman.

The bride wore a strapless white satin A-line gown with an embroidered bodice and the side-drape was encrusted with pearls, lustre sequins and crystals. The bridal bouquet was a combination of red and yellow roses interspersed with daisies, greenery and lace. Her only jewelry was a strand of pearls, a gift from the groom.

The bride carried an Irish linen and lace handkerchief which belonged to her late grandmother, Mrs. Longino Reddoch. This family heirloom also had been used by her sisters, Mary Helen Miller and Katherine Feldman in their weddings.

The couple spent their honeymoon traveling to points of interest in the Smoky Mountains. They recently moved into their new home in Collinsville. The bride is employed as a medical transcriptionist for Focus Infomatics of Woburn, Mass. and EMCS/American Transcription of Woodstock, Ga. The groom is an advanced sales representative for the Coca-Cola Company in Meridian.
