Brittney Allyson Smith of Laurel became the bride of Micah Roger Welborn of Laurel at 6:30 p.m. May 19, 2007, at Freedom Baptist Church in Laurel.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Rhonda Smith of Laurel.
The groom is the son of Larry and Marilyn Welborn of Brandon.
The Rev. Robby Johnson performed the ceremony.
Ricky and Tina Barrett presented the music. Angie Hodge and Justin Walters served as soloists. Dr. Bill Myers was pianist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown designed by Marissa of ivory silk satin that featured a sweetheart neckline delicately embellished with swarovski crystals and seed pearls. From the drop waist bodice, the a-line skirt was detailed with french pick ups. The skirt flowed into a chapel length train. The bride completed her ensemble with a chapel length heirloom veil by Kristina Eaton made of English silk tulle with fine silver embroidery and swarovski crystal rhinestones.
Katie Smith, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Leslie Stevens of Orange Beach, Ala., and Sandy Thornton and Amber Brooks both of Laurel.
Junior bridesmaid was Morgan Mansell of Laurel.
Honorary bridesmaids were Lisa Walters of Laurel, Jessica Bowman of Gulfport, and Brandie Edwards of Laurel.
Best man was Larry Welborn, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Shawn Taylor, Wyatt Bowers both of Laurel, and Patrick Hendry of Sebring, Fla.
Junior groomsman was Shelby Smith, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Ryan Robinson, Nathan Jack, Eric VanFossen, Kenny Knight and Brandon Hendry.
Chloe Lyons served as flower girl.
