United in Matrimony

Leeanna Marie Boodée of New Braunfels, Texas became the bride of Robert Patrick Horne of Laurel, August 11, 2007, at Castle Avalon in New Braunfels, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Kathryn Willis of New Braunfels, Texas and Dr. Henri Boodée of Brookefield, Conn.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Horne Jr. of Laurel.
Dr. William Flannagan of Rome, Ga. performed the ceremony.
Piano music was presented by Paul Schaffenburger of New Braunfels.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless, ivory satin gown with crystal beading accenting the bodice and semi-cathedral train.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Kara Boodée of New Braunfels, Texas.
Bridesmaids were Julie Mathis of Houston, Texas, Ashley Powell of Austin, Texas, Candace Wiley of Round Rock, Texas and Lacey Moore of Laurel.
William Horne Jr. of Laurel, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jeffrey Horne of Tallahassee, Fla., brother of the groom, John Perritt of Jackson, Johnathan Wells of Fort Polk, La. and Bryan Wall of Jackson.
Ushers were Phil Hendrie of New Braunfels, Texas and John Boodée of Brookefield, Conn., brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Adyson and Macie Lincoln of New Braunfels, Texas.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Castle Avalon.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Vineyards in New Braunfels.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple is at home in College Station, Texas. The bride is a school psychologist with the College Station Independent School System and the groom is a teaching tennis pro at Aerofit Athletic Club and a volunteer assistant with the men’s tennis team at Texas A & M.
