Published March 23, 2008 10:49 am - Lady Bears sweep Lady Bobcats From staff reports SUMMIT — The Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears swept a doubleheader from Jones County Junior College here Thursday.
The Lady Bears won the opener, 6-4, and took the nightcap, 7-6 in eight innings. Jones drops to 10-8 overall, 0-2 in the South Division. The Lady Bobcats continue division play with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Gulf Coast on Wednesday.
