Published March 06, 2009 11:10 am - Ford, Hamiilton sign to play JCJC baseball From JCJC Sports Information TAYLORSVILLE – Jones County Junior College head baseball coach Christian Ostrander added two more prep standouts to his 2009 recruiting class Thursday morning.
Taylorsville High School’s Tanner Ford and Billy Hamilton signed scholarships here in the school’s conference room. Ford is a standout third baseman/catcher/utility player for head coach Dusty Hillman’s Tartars. Hamilton is a talented outfielder for THS. He has already signed to play football at JCJC. Ford and Hamilton join West Jones’ products Brandon Holley and Garrett Moore, South Jones’ standout Tyler Fall and Stringer’s Andrew Pierce as signees for Ostrander’s Bobcats.
