The Northeast Jones High School faculty is proud to announce the selection of high school students of the month for October 2008. Selected were: Seniors – Ryan Padgett and Meleaha Taylor; Juniors – Slade Dickerson and Shelbi Waller; Sophomores – Thomas Baucum and Memorie Boykin; Freshmen – Colton Kelley and Laken Bush. High School Students of the Month are selected every third week during grade level faculty meetings. Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, good citizenship, character, attendance, academic improvement, and attitude. NEJ Supervising Principal Cooper Pope presents each Student of the Month with a certificate and t-shirt, and his/her photograph is displayed in the school trophy case for one month.
