Teachers from Star Reach, the Jones County Schools’ Gifted Studies Center, recently attended the Annual Mississippi Association for Gifted Children Conference in Philadelphia. The yearly conference offers informational sessions for both parents and teachers of gifted students. Sessions include ideas on how to parent a gifted child, classroom techniques, lesson ideas as well as testing and screening information. The teachers pictured were chosen to present activities and ideas that they use in their classrooms with other gifted professionals from all over the state.
