Photo/Submitted Excitement was in the air for parents and students on the first day of school at West Jones Elementary. Todd Rogers was ready for his first day of kindergarten. His mom, Jennifer Rogers, dropped him off on her way to work. Several parents walked their child to their room the first day, helping tote their new school supplies. Nan Herrington, Instruction Interventionist, added “I love the first day of school. Everyone is excited and happy. We are off to a great start and will have a wonderful school year.”
