Approximately 2,000 parents, students, and community members recently joined Northeast Jones faculty/staff for Open House. Parents and students were able to meet with teachers, pick up supply lists and course syllabi, and meet with counselors regarding scheduling concerns. The newly constructed NEJ cafeteria and high school media center are operational and were open for tours and a power-point presentation featuring 2007-2008 school year highlights was presented in the high school media center. Jones County Superintendent of Education Steve Thrash, the Jones County School Board and other Jones County School District officials were present. Jones County School District Officials and Board of Education members join NEJ Supervising Principal Cooper for the official opening of the new NEJ cafeteria.
