Glade students participate in Accelerated Reader

Photo/Submitted

Students at Glade Elementary have been working super hard to earn points in Accelerated Reader. Each book that a student reads and takes a test on helps them earn AR points. Most book are worth anywhere from .5 pts.– 3 pts. Some of the higher level books are worth more. Caleb Lee and Julia McNeil, second graders in Amy Walters' class, have reached 200 points so far this year. Cheyanne Craven, a 6th grader, has also reached 200 points. Many others have worked hard too. Katie Beech, Charles Herrington, Dalton Jefcoat, Douglas Jobin, Laken Jones, Jacob McRee, Keith Moffett, Gabe Scott, Legend Waldrup, Michaela Knight and Randy Scott have all reached 100 points in AR.
