Pennies for Patients

Students at South Jones Elementary School recently participated in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients program which raises funds to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma research. This program allows students to develop compassion and learn the value of helping others while they are working for a good cause. The total amount raised from the school was $3,131.
