NEJ announces Students of Month

Names of December 2008 Northeast Jones High School students of the month were recently announced. These students were selected by NEJ high school teachers during grade level meetings during held each week. Students are selected on the basis of character, improvement in academics, behavior, attendance and/or attitude, and peer example. Each student selected has his/her photograph displayed in the school trophy case for one month. NEJ Supervising Principal Cooper Pope also presents each of the students a certificate and Student of the Month t-shirt designed by Gary V. Buckler. The December 2008 NEJ High School Students of the Month were: Seniors – Albert Milsap and Simbree Touchstone; Juniors – Tyler Cook and Jamie Hinton; Sophomores – Juwan Lawrence and Kelsey Walters; Freshmen – Chase Smith and Elizabeth Moncivais.
