First UMC honors Moss

To the Leader-Call

Laurel First United Methodist Church honored Peggy Moss at a luncheon on Sunday, April 27

Moss retired after 31 years of faithful service as the church Business Administrator. She received certification from Emory University as a church Business Administrator and served for seven years on the Executive Board of the Southeastern Jurisdiction Association of United Methodist Business Administrators.

Each year she took advantage of continuing education opportunities provided by this organization in order to equip herself for continued effective service to her church.

She has been the ideal model of a dedicated Christian church employee and seven pastors have benefited from her friendly, compassionate and confidential handling of the church’s finances.

More than 100 members of First United Methodist Church and many other friends and family members, honored Peggy’s years of service.
