The Jones County Sheriff’s Department reported 135 calls for service, 3 accidents, 14 traffic stops, and 55 business/residential security checks Nov. 2-3. The following arrests were made:

Cooley, Franklin, 02/21/89, providing false information to law enforcement

Norris, Denise, white female, 01/27/71, simple assault-domestic violence, possession of a c/s with intent to distribute, contributing/delinquency minor, disorderly conduct

Porter, Joe, black male, 08/21/76, driving under the influence-1st offense
