The Jones County Sheriff’s Department reported 226 calls for service; two accidents, 28 traffic stops, and 114 business/residential security checks June 10-11. The Jones County Adult Detention Center reported the following arrests June 10-11:

Joel D. Holloway, WM, 12/24/1966, simple assault

Tracy D. Holloway, WF, 8/16/1972, simple assault

Ricky Paul Phipps, WM, 11/11/1953, suspended drivers license; careless driving; possession of beer in dry county
