One thousand copies of the Jones County family history book “Echoes From Our Past” were delivered to the Laurel-Jones County Library recently.
All books to be mailed will be repackaged, labeled and taken to the post office as soon as possible.
Preordered books, not to be mailed, may be picked up at the Laurel-Jones County Library during genealogy hours only, beginning Friday.
The genealogy department is open Wednesday and Thursday from. 1-4:45 pm; Friday from 9 a.m.-4:45 p.m., closed from noon-1 p.m. for lunch, and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Books may also be purchased during these hours beginning Friday.
Books are also available for sale at Blakeney Communications Inc./B95 radio at 4580 Highway 15 North in Laurel, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The cost of the book is $50, plus $5 if mailed. Books are available at jcgho1@yahoo.com and www.b95county.com.
