Senior citizens attend rally at WCU

Over 300 attended the Southern Senior Adult Regional Rally held August 26 on the Hattiesburg campus of William Carey University. Break-out leaders were Kandi Anderson, humorist/radio personality of Gulfport; Dr. Talmadge Smith, former adult music director of Brookhaven; and Charles Welch, Minister of Senior Adults, FBC of Hattiesburg. The Lincoln Choral of Brookhaven provided special music and Rev. Dennis Daniels, Congregation/Pastor Care Minister of FBC, Jackson, delivered the keynote message. The refreshment break was sponsored by the Mississippi Baptist Foundation. Pictured from left are Glenn Shows, Family Ministry and Adult Discipleship Consultant, MBC; Dr. Tommy King, president, William Carey University; and Daniel Hall, Executive Director, Mississippi Baptist Foundation.
