More than 80 kids turned out to participate in the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art’s annual Free Family Arts Days which began Wednesday, June 3 and will continue each Wednesday, 1-4 p.m. through July 1. The come-and-go event is held in the Museum Annex and each week kids create a different piece of artwork. Upcoming art projects include mandalas, stand-up self portraits, and a flag activity. Danielle Parker, 5, is pictured painting a summertime refrigerator magnet.
