The Laurel Junior Auxiliary in conjunction with the Laurel City School District works with the GED Program students each year.  The Junior Auxiliary awards one student with a GED Scholarship to help this student further his or her education. This year Dyamond White was chosen as the recipient. White has the highest GED scores in science, reading and math for this year.  She holds the record of 586 for the highest total score on the GED test for the past five years at Laurel High School GED.
