To the editor:

I just wanted to take a moment and reflect back on the work ethic of our parents.

Personally, I have learned everything from my parents. Having been there for me in every aspect of my life, I can certainly say I have witnessed work ethic from my parents.

As a college instructor now, I want to always utilize this work ethic everyday I come into work. I am constantly learning from others, and will continuously attempt to gain that high level of work ethic I have witnessed over the years from my parents.

My parents are always working, whether be at their jobs, at the church, and at home.

As we go about our busy days, let us take a moment and reflect back on and thank our parents for all that they do, because I know there are many others who feel the same way about their parents as I do. Let us be humble, and continue to strive for that high level of work ethic we learned from our elders, for this is what makes this country the very best in the world.
