Mary Frances Ingram Flowers
Mary Frances Ingram Flowers, 80, of Laurel, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Memory Chapel with burial to follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Cary Kimbrell and the Rev. Valton Douglas will be officiating.
Born August 23, 1927, Mrs. Flowers was a housewife and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Buford and Nancy Moss Ingram; four brothers, Theodore Ingram, Sam Ingram, Burl Ingram and Ed Ingram; and two sisters, Vebor Jenkins and Floy Garrett.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James Arnold Flowers of Laurel; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Carolyn Flowers of Laurel; three daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Trulon Boykin of Laurel, Beverly and Gale Evans of Northport, Ala., and Candace and Jobie Evans of Ellisville; 13 grandchildren, Marty Boykin, Kerry Roe, Jeremy Flowers, Stacy Junkin, Corey Evans, Aaron Evans, Courtney Bower, Ryan Evans, Haley Evans, Webb Evans, Jonathan Flowers, James Boykin and Sonya Bryant; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Loiemae Ingram Teneyck of Laurel and Georgena Ingram of Breamaton, Wash.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and deacons of Bethlehem Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the Bethlehem Baptist Church building fund.
Visitation will befrom 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of services.
Patricia Ann Gaddy Jordan
Patricia Ann Gaddy Jordan, 49, of Laurel, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. W. C. Davis Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Nora Davis Cemetery.
Ms. Jordan was employed with the East Jasper School District and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Gaddy; mother, Cora Gaddy; and sister, Marzella Gaddy.
