Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Frances M. Duffy of Laurel; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Audra Duffy of Laurel; twin daughters and sons-in law, Debbie and James Buckhaults of Ellisville and Jan and Mike Ruffin of Laurel: one sister, Mary and Angelo Licata of Ft. Pierce, Fla. His pride and joy were his five grandchildren: Corey Ruffin, Katelyn Duffy, Taylor Duffy, Jacob Bauer, and Maggie Bauer.
Pallbearers will be Frank Moody, Casey Moody, Wesley Hughes, Donald Rogers, Josh Norcross, Glen Ainsworth, and Thomas Ainsworth. Honorary pallbearers will be the United Methodist Men’s Club and Franklin United Methodist Church, Harry Wells and Jeffrey Bailey.
Memorials may be made to Franklin United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. this evening at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of services.
Helen Murphy
Helen Murphy, 74, of Moselle, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Murphy; parents, Malphard Matt Weems, Sr. and Mary Colenia Walden Weems; and three brothers, Malphard Matt Weems, Jr., Mickey Weems and Billy Weems.
She is survived by four sisters, Evelyn Hinton of Soso, Lavern Daniels of Laurel, Jean Weems of Batavia, III., Nancy Michalek of Coco, Fla.; two brothers, Ronnie Weems of Laurel and Dale Weems of Los Angeles, Calif.; special friend and companion, Bernard Berry.
Jones & Son Funeral Home in Moselle was in charge of arrangements.

Otho Lee Pittman Jr., 78, of Collins, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Collins.
