Eva Odom Ivy

Eva Odom Ivy, 83, of Richton, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Pine View Church of God in Richton with burial in the Edwards Cemetery in Richton. The Revs. Henry Cochran and Chad James will officiate.

Mrs. Ivy was a homemaker and a member of Pine View Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, James T. Ivy of Richton; sons, Jerry Ivy and James H. Ivy, both of Pascagoula; daughters, Joann Palmer of Pascagoula, Judy L. Clark of Laurel, and Betty Jo Dykes and Deborah K. Stevens, both of Richton; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until 10 p.m. this evening at Pine View Church of God. Jones & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Elizabeth “Betty” Stone

Elizabeth “Betty” Stone, 93, of Bay St. Louis, formerly of Laurel, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with Memory Chapel in charge of the arrangement.

Joey Lamar Walters

Joey Lamar Walters, 47, of Seminary, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Forrest General Hosp.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the Chapel of Memory Chapel. The Revs. Lane Clinton and Kenny McMinn will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Walters was employed with Eco Lab Pest Control and served in the U.S. Army.
