Ex-MSU standout returns

Photo/Submitted

Royce Blackledge, a former NEJ and Mississippi State football standout, recently spoke to the South Jones High School football players. Blackledge, who earned a management of construction and land development degree from MSU in December, advised the players to do their best in all aspects of their lives. According to Blackledge, his most memorable experience at MSU was finishing his senior season with a win at the Liberty Bowl. Pictured standing on the front row are SJ football players Ian Riser and Zach Blackwell. Standing in back are SJ Head Football Coach Cecil Hicks, Blackledge, and Coach Fred Cooley.
