As family, friends, and former teammates looked on, Cooper Pope, Northeast Jones Supervising Principal, was recently inducted into the Misissippi College Sports Hall of Fame. Pope played football for Mississippi College from 1982 to 1986 and was a Gulf South All-Conference Offensive Lineman in his junior and senior years. He also served as a football coach at MC from 1989 to 1999. Pope has served as NEJ Middle School Principal for several years prior to being named Supervising Principal in July of 2007.
