Sertoma T-Ball announces registration

Sertoma T-Ball program, Laurel’s oldest and largest program of the sort, will begin its 2008 season with registration on May 10 at 9 a.m.

Registration will be held at the Magnolia Center at the Laurel Fairgrounds. Fee is $35 per child, and the league is open to boys and girls ages 3-7.

No prior coach pitch or farm league players are eligible to register.

All games will be played in the air conditioned comfort of the Magnolia Center, for convenience and to eliminate rainouts.

The program has been in operation for nearly thirty years and usually has around 400 children involved. Last year there were 343 tee ball players in the league.

The season will last from the first week in June to approximately the first week in July, depending on the number of players and teams.

For any questions or information, contact any Sertoma member or call Bo Asmar at 498-3869.
