Ralph Ainsworth

Ainsworth elected as Grand Master

Jones Countian now leads Miss. Masons

By Eloria Newell James, community@leadercall.com

Because of his position, Ainsworth handled the re-enactment of the cornerstone laying at the Jones County Courthouse in Ellisville, commemorating the buildings’ 100 year in existence.

Ainsworth said Jones County is well represented in the Grand Lodge this year.

“We have six people from Jones County serving as officers of the 16 Grand Lodge,” he said. “That’s something that’s never been done.”

Officers of the Grand Lodge of Mississippi from Jones County are: Ainsworth as Grand Master; William Gregory Dickerson as Deputy Grand Master; Willis Ralph Carlisle as Junior Grand Warden; Burnis Raymond Graham as Senior Grand Deacon; Robert Stewart Musgrove as Grand Pursuivant; and Wilson Arthur Windham as Grand Orator.
