Published September 23, 2009 10:35 am - Smith County man arrested for receiving stolen property From Jones Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Public Relations Jones County deputies arrested a Smith County man for receiving stolen property and DUI.
Sheriff Alex Hodge said Dale Williams, 28, of Taylorsville was arrested by Deputy Howard Chandler at a safety checkpoint on Bush Dairy Road. Williams reportedly approached the check point in a Ford 500 that had been previously reported stolen from Laurel in November 2008. Williams was arrested and transported to the Jones County Adult Detention Facility for charges of receiving stolen property and DUI.
