Multi-million airplay, award-winning songwriter and Grammy-nominated recording artist Deborah Allen is scheduled to play at the Reserve tonight and Saturday.
She is known as one of the music industry’s most diverse and dynamic talents. With a silky, soulful, delta voice, her performances show her energy and a depth of passion.
She has written more than 1,200 songs and had more than 350 major cuts by artists such as LeAnn Rimes, Brooks and Dunn, Patty Lovelace, George Jones, Tanya Tucker, Diana Ross and Fleetwood Mac.
Allen tours all over the world, but has found a new home in Mississippi with a mentoring program for aspiring new talents called "One on One with Deborah Allen." The success of the program has inspired a television program called "Give a Living Rose" to film a feature about the mentoring program.
Tapings will be held at the Reserve both nights. Saturday night’s show has standing room only, but tickets are still available for the Friday night performance.
There will also be a registration for the fall session of her "One on One" program beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Reserve.
