An Ellisville man is in jail facing multiple counts of indecent exposure after his arrest Monday.
Ellisville Police Chief Bruce Russell identified the man as Jeffrey Thaens, 44, 300 Camp.
He is charged with four counts of indecent exposure and two counts of resisting arrest.
Russell said police received a call that a man had exposed himself to four teenage girls who were at a swimming pool near Thaens’ home. According to Russell, Thaens exposed himself to the girls, who told a parent, who in turned called the police.
Police and Wayne Black of the Jones County District Attorney’s office went to Thaens’ residence, but he did not answer the door. After obtaining an arrest warrant, Russell said police forcibly entered the residence through the door.
The chief said Thaens refused to cooperate with the arrest, and was charged with resisting arrest.
