Graduations take place Thursday

Several local students will be graduating from high schools in Jones County this week.
The Laurel School District will conduct commencement exercises for the graduating seniors at Laurel High School at 7 p.m. Thursday at R.H. Watkins Stadium.
The Jones County School District will conduct graduation exercises for all three of its high schools at the Magnolia Center on Thursday.
West Jones High School’s program will begin at 11 a.m. followed by Northeast Jones High School’s program at 3 p.m. and South Jones High School’s program at 7 p.m.
West Jasper High School in Bay Springs and Stringer Attendance Center will also conduct their graduation programs Thursday. West Jasper’s event will be at 6 p.m. and Stringer’s program will be at 8 p.m.
Heidelberg High School in Heidelberg will conduct it’s commencement exercises at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 22.
Laurel Christian Schools conducted its graduation exercise on May 15.
Last Friday, Taylorsville High School and Wayne County High School held their commencement exercises.
Heidelberg Academy, Sylva Bay Academy and Wayne Academy conducted their graduation programs earlier this month.
