Poplarville soldier laid to rest

A soldier salutes during proceedings Wednesday at the funeral of Sgt. Lerando Brown, who died March 15, while serving in Balad, Iraq. Brown's father-in-law, the Rev. Jimmie Richardson (standing center), presided over the service. After the services in Poplarville, Brown's body was transported to Biloxi National Cemetery for internment.
