I, Marilyn Graves Huff, am announcing my candidacy for Beat 2 Election Commissioner for Jones County.
I am married to James B. Huff, Sr., and we are life-long residents of the Hebron Community of Jones County.
Our children are Melanie and Tim Hubbard and Jim and Samantha Huff. We have five grandchildren: Meredith Wilson, Lee Hubbard, Ben, Matthew and Miles Huff.
I am a graduate of Jones County Schools, Jones County Junior College and Mississippi University for Women.
I have been a public school teacher, piano and swimming teacher for many years.
As a dedicated Christian, and if elected, I will perform my duties in a straight forward manner with a common sense approach.
I would appreciate your vote and influence on Nov. 6, 2007, for Election Commissioner of Beat 2, Jones County.
