To the editor:

Well, I thought that I had witnessed almost every new low that man can dish out to an individual when the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to former President Jimmy Carter a few years ago, but today was a low that takes first prize as the lowest of low’s.

What pray tell has Barrack Hussein Obama ever done to deserve such a distinguished award anyway, that is, unless setting out to totally destroy a free society by sinking America into a debt that even our children’s children will never pay off. And by totally destroying the world’s best health care system mankind has ever developed. And by taking away any desire from the average American Citizen to better themselves with hard work instead of being dependent on the Government for their handout. And yes, “By being the world’s greatest liar.”

Wake up America, your freedoms that so many fought and died for are being taken away before your very eyes. Your “VOICES” in Washington DC that YOU put there to represent YOUR welfare has sold you out to a Party Label, to a Party Leader, and to a President that does NOT have your well being in his agenda.

America has always had and will always have the greatest Military Leaders and Troops in the world, and being a Veteran of the Korean War, I am well aware of the importance of support from your Superior Officers in the field as well as from your Government Leaders back home. Today our Military on the battlefield is being denied that support because of political squabbling within high places and as a result our people are being killed and wounded.

Any Veteran, any member of the Armed Forces will tell you that “TIME” on the battlefield is a luxury that a soldier does not have. Therefore I urge every American, young and not so young, to immediately contact your elected officials in Washington DC and tell them that enough is enough, that we won’t tolerate being ignored any longer. Tell them that President Obama does not care about the freedom that Americans have and that we will not allow what so many have fought and died for be taken from us by any group or individual. And last but not least, tell them that America is still the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE.
