Flag cheerleader registration

Calhoun Jets Flag Cheerleader Registration, for kindergarten-third grade students, will be held at the Calhoun Community Center, Thursday, May 8 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Please take a copy of your birth certificate and the $100 registration fee. Final $100.00 due by June 1. Price includes uniform, shorts, t-shirt, shoes, hair bow, socks, poms, cheerleader duffel bag, bloomers, and water bottle. Sponsors: Sonya Sumrall and Allison Maxey. You must live in the Calhoun, Pendorff, or Hebron areas to participate.

Crawfish boil

The Laurel Little Theatre Crawfish Boil will be held at The Courtyards May 10th beginning at 5 p.m. For tickets call (601) 577-2405. Tickets are $15.00.

Federation of Democratic Women

Jones County Federation of Democratic Women will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, May 5, at the Jones County Courthouse in Laurel. This is a very important meeting and membership is still being accepted. All Democrat men and women are welcome to join.

Glade Green Hornet reunion

The Glade High School Class of 1958 cordially invites the graduates from those classes that graduated ahead of us and after to a reception in the Glade Elem.
