Mr. and Mrs. Joel Dove of Purvis announces the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Joy, to Chadwick Ellias Clairmont, son of Brenda and Andrew Russell and Mr. and Mrs. Spanky Clairmont of Laurel.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles Campbell of Lumberton, the late Myra Campbell, Glenn Dove of Lakeland, Ga. and the late Vera Mae Dove. She is a 2004 graduate of Purvis High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from William Carey University in 2008. She is currently employed at William Carey University while pursuing her masters degree.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Ishee of Soso and Dorothy Clairmont of Laurel and the late Joe Clairmont. He is a 2005 graduate of Heidelberg Academy. He is employed with Rowan Drilling, Saudi Arabia.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2:30 p.m. January 10, 2009, at Okahola Baptist Church in Purvis. A reception will follow. Friends and family are invited to attend.
