James and Lynn Hodge of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Vonda Jeanenne, to Shane Aaron Kitchens of Seminary, son of Glenn Kitchens of Seminary and Margaret Cain of Taylorsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Cecil and Willie Mae Manning and the late Max Hodge and Jerry and Pauline West of Laurel.

The future groom is the grandson of Otis and Lois Kitchens of Seminary and the late Lawrence and Edna Moore.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, at Jesus Name Home Church, 372 Orange Dr., Laurel. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
