James and Teresa Walters of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Walters to Joshua Holifield, son of Rusty and Debbie Holifield of Ellisville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill and Myrtle Aldridge of Hattiesburg. She is a 2004 graduate of South Jones High School, 2006 graduate of Jones County Junior College and will graduate in December with a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is employed with Country Fisherman in Laurel.

The future groom is the grandson of the late J.W. and Bobbie Holifield, Mrs. and Mrs. Jack Herrington of Brandon and Mrs. Noba Cotton of Maryville, Tenn. He is a 2001 graduate of West Jones High School. He is employed with McCaskill Brothers in Laurel.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. on August 9, 2008 at Landrum’s Country Homestead and Village. Family and friends are invited to attend.
