Dr. and Mrs. Weaver H. McCracken III, of Clinton announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Ruth, to Daniel Steven Armour, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bryan Armour of Laurel.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Sheldon Domm and the late Mr. and Mrs. Weaver McCracken Jr. She graduated from Clinton High School in 2002. She holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in dietetics from Mississippi State University.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William McGee, of Starkville, and Mrs. Angela Armour of Memphis, Tenn. and the late Mr. E.B. Armour.

He was home-schooled through the Advanced Training Institute of Oak Brook, Ill. He graduated from Mississippi State University, with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2007. He is employed by Brasfield & Gorrie General Contractors, as a project manager working on the addition to the Baptist Hospital in Jackson.

The wedding will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Clinton.
