Michael and Alma Hodge of Sharon announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Casey Lashae Welborn, to Jamie Keith Powell, son of Edward and Janice Powell of Soso.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of West Jones High School. She is currently attending Jones County Junior College in the nursing program and will graduate in December.

The future groom is also a graduate of West Jones High School. He has a degree in Electronics Technology. He is self employed, owner and operator of J & E Wholesale.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. on May 24, 2008, at First Church of Nazarene in Laurel, followed by a reception at Dixie Golf Association in Laurel. Friends and family are invited to attend.
