— Robert and Peggy McNeil of Bay Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Dianne McNeil to John Henry Edwards II, son of John and Claudette Edwards of Richton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Freeman of Bay Springs and the late Reginald B. Davidson and Bobbie J. Sims and Dorothy McNeil of Louin and the late Waites McNeil. She is a 2007 graduate of Laurel High School. She is currently attending Jones County Junior College where she is majoring in business with a minor in criminal justice.
The future groom is the grandson of Dorian Aronson of Mary Ester, Fla. and Nolan and Bonnie LeCoq of Richton and the late Vardie and Alma Edwards. He graduated from Richton High School in 2003. He is currently employed with Goodnight Electric and plans to attend Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando, Fla.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. May 24, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Richton, immediately followed by a reception. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Following their nuptials, the couple will reside in Richton.
