The Leader-Call is happy to print an article about your wedding or engagement. A form to submit the information may be obtained from the newsroom.
Engagement announcements must be submitted no later than one month before the wedding takes place; wedding announcements, no later than one year (12 months) after the ceremony. Otherwise, we may not be able to accommodate your request for publication. A 5x7 color or black and white photograph is recommended.
The fee for an engagement announcement up to 250 words with a photo is $35, without a photo $25.
The fee for a wedding announcement up to 350 words is $45 with a photo, $35 without a photo.
Announcements must be submitted and paid for at the latest by noon on Thursday before the Sunday it is wished to run.
All submissions must include a contact name and phone number. All announcements are subject to editing according to Associated Press Style at the editor’s discretion. Contact the People Editor at 601-428-0551 or
