Young Architects at St. John's Day School

Photo/Submitted

Fifth and sixth grade students from St. John’s Day School recently participated in an Awesome Architecture summer camp. Students used “Young Architects” kits to create blueprints and three-dimensional models of selected house plans. They also designed and constructed toothpick bridges and tested them for strength. As a culmination to the camp, the students were allowed to create edible houses which they could eat upon completion. Pictured from left is Keri Rowell, Robbie Johnston, Darby Fisher, Jonathan Weber and Seth Walters.
