Private lessons are offered in piano, voice, guitar, organ, woodwinds, and brass, as well as composition and theory instruction. Faculty includes members of the Winters School of Music as well as other highly qualified instructors from the area.
All students are encouraged to perform in student recitals, area festivals, competitions, and to participate in other opportunities throughout the school year. Students who have attended CIFA have gone on to win awards in various music competitions including the National Association of Teachers of Singing, the Mississippi Music Teachers Association and American Choral Directors Association state competitions, as well as the Music Teachers National Association competitions.
Tuition prices range from $130 to $350 for 10 weeks of private lessons. The piano group class rates are comparable to private lessons.
