The Mississippi College chapter of Mortar Board, National honor society, inducted new members into its ranks during a special ceremony held April 22 in MC's Anderson Hall. Mortar Board is a senior honor society dedicated to the principles of scholarship, leadership, fellowship, college loyalty, self awareness, and service. Rebecca Benson, daughter of Brent and Sheila Benson of Laurel, was inducted to the MC Mortar Board honor society. Organization sponsors are: Leland Benton, Chemistry instructor; John Meadors, Christian Studies and Philosophy professor; Karen Lyndsey-Lloyd, Career Services director; and Rick Hartfield, Student Life director.
