Attendants wore floor length gowns of Watters and Watters, fashioned of ivory silk chiffon. The gowns were designed with draped v-neckline and natural waisted bodice with streamers at the back. They carried bouquets of roses, cymbidium orchids and featured jade siam lime green dendrobium orchid sprays. Honorary attendants were Frances Robinson Dykes of Madison, Marcie Ann Lawon of Sikeston, Mo., Christie Patricia Quindlen of Mobile, Ala., Emily Price Titlow of Roswell, Ga. and Caroline Brookshire Williamson of Gadsen, Ala.

Following the wedding ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Fernwood Country Club. The bride designed her cake table with an assortment of cake shapes placed on glass pedestals of varying heights. Flowers were threaded throughout the design and orchids ornamented the tops of the various cakes. The Krackerjacks, a Motown band from Greenville, provided entertainment for the evening.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Fernwood Country Club for the wedding party, close friends and family of the couple.
