— Mr. and Mrs. Clayton E. Johnson of Laurel announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Johnson, to Robert Milton Holland III, son of Mrs. Herbert Street of Hattiesburg and the late Robert M. Holland Jr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Matthew Earl Mc Rae and Barbaranell Parker McRae and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Agnew Johnson. She attended Darlington School in Rome, Ga. and is a graduate of R. H. Watkins High School. She is a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La., where she was a Dean's scholar and a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. She is currently the marketing director and a certified pedorthist for Jones County Medical Supplies, Inc.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kestner Lay and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Holland Sr. He is a graduate of The McCallie High School in Chatanooga, Tenn., where he served as Class Representative of the Honor Council. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, the University of Mississippi and will be a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He is currently assistant manager at Hattiesburg Medical Supply.
Wedding vows will be exchanged Saturday, September 27, 2008 at six o'clock in the evening at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church in New Orleans, La. A reception will follow at Latrobe's on Royal in the French Quarter.
